Fir Pickens-Fulquette

Following last February’s guilty verdict in the Gent Slayings case, Bunforth Poe has relocated, it appears permanently, from Eros City (by writ) to the remote Toots Holler, Louisassippi (by choice).
As Mr. Poe’s sole legal counsel for the duration of the trial, this is a greater shock to me, personally, than to the tens of you who followed the proceedings on Eros Action 9. It was assumed that Bunforth would opt for one of the other two proposed penalties (a $250 fine or public apology to the families of the victims) over expulsion from the city he’s called home for the last 10 years.
During what I was informed would be our last instance of direct communication (later traced to a public telephone in Pigeon Forge, TN), Bunforth assured me that he would “be in touch, one way or another” and that, while delayed, the first installment of Feral Carols would still be available in “Summer 2009.”
Unfortunately, that’s all the information I have at this writing. Unfortunate not because there’s even a remote public interest in the current whereabouts or doings of Bunforth Poe himself, but because all I’ve seen in the way of payment for services rendered is an IOU scrawled in Sharpee on a Fla.Vor.Ice boxtop.
